obtaining average monthly rainfall graph

Postby capebio » Mon Sep 14, 2009 9:30 pm
Hi folks.
I wish to obtain a graph of average monthly rainfall for Kenya. I've managed to generate a graph per year using "precipitation kenya 2000-2005", but I require it to show rainfall seasonality.
Thanks for your assistance

I think you should ask many times for shorter periods:
'precipitation kenya 2000' makes a monthly average graphic

What exactly to you mean when you say 'Rainfall Seasonality'?
You query may not be returning adequate data because to put it simply, the data is not there yet. Curators are working extremely hard to address the masses of information at our collective doorstep but to fact-check and file all of it takes a reasonable amount of time.

That said, I will spend some time experimenting with the syntax of your query to see if WA is just being stubborn as usual about allowing pockets of data within a larger dataset to be referenced as floating points as opposed to fixed keywords.

Have a nice day!

If you are not getting any data that simply means it is not available for the time being. I hope people at this community will do something to redress this issue.
